• Where is the store based?

• Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?

  Absolutely! Order away, we'll get to you, no matter where you are in this big, beautiful world of ours.

• How long will it take to receive my order?

  Once orders are received, in stock items are usually filled within the next 1-3 business days. Fulfillment of custom orders is currently 10-14 days due to their individualized nature and dedicated process. Shipping can take 2-10 business days for arrival depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. International shipping delivery times may vary between 2 and 12 weeks.

  Once your order is completed, your shipping information will be sent out via the email address provided at the time of your order, and the arrival time of your order will be contingent on the schedule listed above. Your tracking number (which will be issued to the email address you provide with your order) will link to the site of the shipping provider (USPS), allowing you to monitor the arrival of your order.

• What's the story behind waistbeads?

  The wearing of waistbeads dates back to Ancient Kemet, with evidence of their wear being found in hieroglyphic paintings and drawings. They repopularized within Yoruba culture, making them a mainstay in feminine adornment on the continent of Africa in many countries. They have represented social status, economic standing, familial lineage and operated as a natural waist trainer in the past. In our modern time, they have expanded in the way that they serve the wearer by evolving to include semi-precious stones, symbols, colors, number patterns, metals, other natural materials in their creation, and even amulets or protective charms, depending on the intended use of the wearer. They are a delicate, feminine, empowering adornment that is usually discreetly worn under the clothing, but often women today wear them as part of their daily external adornment. Waistbeads are as powerful as they are beautiful, and make a impactful and lovely addition to any Goddess's adornment collection and healing tool arsenal.

• What's the difference between waistbeads and WaistBliss?

  WaistBliss is the term I came up with to describe the custom intentionally strung waistbeads I began to create to assist women on their various journeys.

  Using my knowledge of earth mineral healing, numerology, color therapy, aromatherapy, and the power of words and affirmations, we create a set of beads that are meant to support you in the ways you express at the time of your consultation.

  WaistBliss has assisted women on journeys through a multitude of experiences where they felt the need to celebrate and reconnect to the feminine self, and grow into a deeper understanding of their own evolution. Their creation comes from a tedious and very dedicated process of honesty, privacy, compassion, and support. No two strands are alike.

• Do you accept partial payments for custom designs?

  In depth conversation is had about the composition and material selection of each unique collaboration between myself and my lovely clients, and oftentimes it requires sourcing additional materials that are not kept in stock. Designs that are made to order must be paid for in full prior to creation.

• What style of waistbeads do you offer?

  Every design is different. I predominately offer tie-on strands with the pre-made and custom strands, the possibility of having your strands strung on a durable elastic cord or on a cord that is adjustable (with a lobster clasp and chain extender) is possible, just ask.

• What is Storenvy?

• How do I pay for my order? Is it secure?

Because of this, Storenvy has all the same securities and payment fraud protection as these leading payment processors. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Diners Club. If paying with PayPal, you may also make payments using your bank account, but this may delay your order.
